Gliffaes Wedding Albums

civil ceremony at Gliffaes Hotel

Get a feel for a wedding at Gliffaes with these pictures.

I have put together a few albums of past weddings at Gliffaes so you can get an idea of how your day might look.

Nino & Lauren – November 2012

You would not really believe that this wedding took place in November. The bride and groom took over the whole hotel for a great party and we used the sitting room for the ceremony to fit all the 80 guests in. These great pictures were taken by Naomi and Vince at Whole Picture Weddings. Or see their blog post of the event.

Liz & Richard – October 2011

October can be wonderful month at Gliffaes with all the autumn colours from the hundreds of trees in the grounds  and the bride and groom made great use of the gardens for the photos.

Kay & Huw – May 2011

This was a wonderful day in May with around 50 guests coming to celebrate Kay & Huw’s wedding at Gliffaes. Keen eyed among you might spot that the bride requested us to organise white chair covers with black bows to cover the dining room chairs. The rhododendrons make an amazing backdrop for photos and are in bloom from the middle of May for a couple of weeks.

Nat & Lara – April 2011

These pictures were taken at Gliffaes in April 2011 of Nat and Lara William’s wedding. The photos (and the video) were taken by Andrew  at A R Jenkins Photography (who I have to say is a quick, efficient and charming photographer who I would recommend to any bride without hesitation. Have a look at his website.

Damon & Lydia – Sept 2010

Damon & Lydia took over the whole hotel for a Sunday night in September. They had a civil ceremony late in the afternoon followed by drinks and canapés outside on the terrace before going into the dining room for dinner. This was followed by dancing to a live band.

Tina & Tracey – June 2010

Tina and Tracey had a lovely summer’s day for their civil partnership at Gliffaes. About 40 guests came along for the day.
