Chilean Wine Diner & Tasting
Saturday 24th April
The wines of Chile are celebrated around the world but the devastating earthquake in February has had a huge impact on growers and their surrounding communities.
In a special
evening to help raise funds to help Chile’s
earthquake victims, Gliffaes head chef Karl Cheetham will present a
delicious four-course meal, created to complement five wonderful
Chilean wines, one before dinner and one with each course. Any wines
that you taste can be ordered on the night.
Michael Cox , the
UK Director of Wines of Chile, the
promotional body for the Chilean wine trade
will be joining us to introduce each of the wines on show and
also to tell us more about the country, its people, its
vineyards and how we can help the people of
Chile in the aftermath of the earthquake.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £65 per person (£50 if you have drawn the short straw and have to drive) with £10 from each ticket donated to the Red Cross Chile Appeal. This promises to be a great evening and we only have 50 tickets so please call now to book, call Gliffaes Hotel on 01874 730 371.
