Experience dining at one of the finest restaurants in Brecon

As one of the finest places to eat in Brecon, we know a thing or two about fine dining. Here at Gliffaes Country House Hotel, our dedicated kitchen team use only the freshest and highest quality local and seasonal produce to create each of our delicious menus. As part of our endeavour to keep all of our suppliers local and sustainable, we are proud to say that in our Brecon restaurant we only use fish approved by the Marine Stewardship Council.

We are committed to keeping everything seasonal and fresh at Gliffaes, home to one of the top restaurants in Brecon. As such, our menu changes with the seasons. Our talented Head Chef Karl Cheetham , who has been with us now for over ten years, makes the most of the fantastic produce on offer in the Brecon Beacons and designs only the most exquisite menus to show it off.

If you’re looking for something a little sweeter, our Afternoon Tea in Crickhowell is tough to beat! Available throughout the year, all of our handmade cakes have been carefully selected to bring you the best the Brecon Beacons has to offer. After you’ve chosen from our delectable selection, you can take your cakes out to the terrace if it’s sunny; or the drawing room for a cosier tea.

Not only do we carefully hand select all of the produce that we use, we do our utmost to cater to every customer’s needs. Should you have any particular dietary requirements, do not hesitate to let us know and we will make sure that they are taken into consideration.
