Can we bring our children along?

Of course you can. Although we don't have family rooms we can put camp beds or cots in some of our larger rooms. One or two rooms have sofa beds in as well. There is a charge for camp beds (£23 for B&B) but no charge for cots.
We don't have inter-connecting rooms but we are very used to fitting in children so that they are as close to you as you might wish. Could be just across the corridor or on another floor, it's up to you.
If you don't want your children to join you for dinner we can arrange a high tea for them before you eat. We have a selection of children's DVDs and we also receive the children's BBC channel (CBBC) on our television system.

The hotel's bedrooms are equipped for baby listening through the telephone system.

Yes is the simple answer.

Can you arrange a baby sitter?

We can but can not always guarantee availability, the baby listening service through the hotel's phone system seems to be sufficient for almost all parents.

Can I bring my dog?

We welcome dogs but we do not allow them to stay in our bedrooms. We have two brand new kennels you may use at no extra charge. Your dogs are free to run around the grounds with you.

All our bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, most have baths with showers over the bath. A few have showers only. If you wish to book on line please specify your requirements if this is important to you.

The simple answer is no. We tried and the tackle soon got broken, lost and tangled. If you hire a ghillie he should be able to lend you tackle.

Do you have a spa?

We don't have a spa, if you are feeling hardy you are more than welcome to have a swim in the river, plenty of people do.

There are some excellent facilities nearby and we can arrange for therapists to come and give you a massage etc. in your room.

Yes, we have a very sturdy and simple to use hub geared tandem that we would be delighted to let you loose on to explore the country side. We have a couple of bike helmets for you to borrow if you wish and can advise you on routes as well.
