Three Day Trout Fishing Break

Runs from March 3rd - 30th April (excluding Easter weekend)

We know that you keen to get back on to the water with your fly rod as soon as the fishing season begins. So We have put together a great value three night, two day fishing package with plenty of extras and plenty of exciting  and varied wild brown trout fishing on the River Usk in South Wales. One of the best early season rivers in England and Wales.

Feeding Frenzy
The Usk is famous for its large hatches of march brown, a stone-clinging nymph that thrives in large, fast flowing, rocky rivers, like the Usk. The early season hatch usually gets under way around midday and the flies hatch in waves, but the waves might only be a few minutes long. You have to be ready for them. If you are ready then we have a great offer for fly-fishermen to take advantage of the early season March Brown hatch.

It's all here - including a brand new Airflo 5 weight fly line.

You will be very comfortable here as would any non-fishing partner. Large public rooms, open fires, a sunny conservatory, piles of magazines and good locally scoured food. In fact the Good Hotel Guide voted us Welsh Country Hotel of 2009.
