Gliffaes Country House Hotel – Tariff Information

Gliffaes Hotel has five room types and rooms are priced according to size, view and time of the year and the prices range like this for bed and breakfast, per room per night;

• Small doubles from £89-£108
• Standard doubles with Garden or Courtyard views from £109-£170
• Large doubles with Garden Views £139-£206
• Four Poster room with Garden View £159-£206
• Large doubles with a River View £159-£230
• Luxury doubles with a River View £199-£265

All our rates include full Welsh breakfast and VAT.

Dinner costs £40 for three courses. Gliffaes will be closed from the 2nd January to 1st February 2012.

Stay longer pay less

For stays of 5 or more nights a 10% reduction applies to either the B&B or D,B&B rate. For 7 seven or more nights 15% reduction applies. All prices include service and VAT.

Weekends & Bank Holidays

If you would like to come over a weekend we ask that you stay for two nights please. You may be able to persuade us to bend this rule during the winter (November to February). Over Bank Holiday weekends the minimum stay is  3 nights.

Deposits

All bookings must be secured with a deposit of an amount equal to the first night’s bed and breakfast charge. We reserve the right to withhold deposits if a booking is cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date. Any booking cancelled with more than 14 days notice of the arrival date will receive a full refund less £5 to cover administration and card charges. Bookings made on line will be asked for 50% of the total stay as a deposit.

Family Rooms

We do not have any family rooms but we are able to put cots and camp beds into our large bedrooms for younger children. There is a charge of £12 per camp bed for B&B but no charge for a cot. We are happy to serve young children a simple supper from 6.30 – 7.30pm in the conservatory should you wish. All of our bedrooms are equipped for baby listening using the hotel’s telephone system.

Dogs

Dogs can have full run of our big grounds but we do not allow them to sleep in the guest bedrooms or in the public rooms. Most guests are happy for their dogs to sleep in their owner’s car. We do have kennels which can be used and should be asked for when you book.
