Your Wedding at Gliffaes

Congratulations! firstly on your engagement and secondly on deciding to consider Gliffaes as a possible venue for your wedding. You have taken the first step towards a hassle free and successful day. We will only cater for one wedding at a time and you will never have to share the Hotel with another wedding party. At Gliffaes we do not cater for more than two  weddings per month.

We are good, no very good, at organising parties & weddings because;

• We have over 20 years experience.
• Your day will be supervised by one of the owners; your wedding day is as important to us as it is to you.
• We concentrate 100% on you. We only cater for one party at a time. Gliffaes is not a wedding 'factory' with other weddings going on around yours.
• We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies.
• We have one of the most stunning locations in Wales.

Location Location Location

Situated 150 feet above the river Usk and in 35 acres of stunning grounds Gliffaes is the place for a wedding. Whether you are outside on the glorious sunny terrace on a fine July afternoon or in the large drawing room with fires blazing for a winter wedding. Even better at Christmas with all the decorations around the house.

Please Note

At Gliffaes we ask that weddings finish at 5.30pm. We are unable to to cater for evening parties unless you are prepared to take over the whole hotel for two nights. We are often unable to do this during the summer due to the volume of our forward bookings.

Availability for 2008

We no longer have any more Saturdays available for weddings in 2008. We may be able to arrange a mid-week wedding if you wished.
