Are you coming to Cardiff for The Rugby World Cup?

With less than 100 days to the kick off of the first World Cup pool match the scramble for accommodation near the match venues is hotting up. The fabulous Millennium Stadium in Cardiff is host to six pool matches and a back to back knockout weekend of quarter final matches on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October. Of course, Cardiff’s hotels have jumped on the bandwagon and prices for the above mentioned quarter final weekend have lept through the roof. A quick search on Booking.com has revealed rooms at £1000 a night in a normal 3 star hotel and even the pool match nights are commanding nearly £450 a night.

Abergavenny train station is 20 minutes from Gliffaes Hotel and we can easily arrange for a taxi to the station.
