Delicious Afternoon Tea in South Wales

Indulge In A Spot Of The Finest Afternoon Tea Brecon Has To Offer

Join us at Gliffaes Country House Hotel for a spot of the most superb afternoon tea in Crickhowell. Afternoon tea is served daily from 4:00pm – 5.30pm.

When it comes to afternoon tea, Brecon Beacons is for many the ultimate setting. Over the years, our afternoon tea has become something of a local institution in our little corner of South Wales, and once you have had a taste of our outstanding homemade cakes, scones and sandwiches you will see why!

Our delectable afternoon tea is served as a buffet, so you can help yourself from the tantalising selection of fluffy homemade scones, scrumptious savoury sandwiches and deliciously moist cakes. We certainly won’t judge you if you come back for more, that’s what the buffet is for!

We want you to feel perfectly at home in our cosy hotel, so feel free to take your homemade cakes and warming cup of tea out to the terrace and enjoy the sunshine; you are also welcome to snuggle up by our roaring fire on a chilly winter day.

If you wish to enjoy some of the most delightful afternoon tea in South Wales, you can join us for £20 per person (children under 10 are half price).

Served daily throughout the year, we do request that you please book in advance as availability is limited and our delicious spread is highly sought after.

Should you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, please do let us know and we would be more than happy to cater to your needs.

Request a table for afternoon tea here.
