Breakfast is usually the last meal you will have with us before checking out so we want to make sure you leave on a high note or that you are all set up to go and climb Pen-y-Fan.
Due to corna virus restrictions, the Breakfast Buffet has become another casualty of the pandemic. We are currently re-working the menu for breakfast so that everything will be done to order and brought to your table. This will include more vegetarian and vegan options.
We have a special blend of coffee roasted for us by Read’s Coffee in Dorset, there is nothing worse than a poor cup of coffee first thing in the morning. We have a fine selection of quality teas from Teapigs. Smoked haddock and kippers come from the famous Black Mountain Smokery just down the road in Crickhowell and my hunt for the best local bacon and sausages took me to Paddy Sweeny’s Butchers in Brecon.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 8:00 am until 10:00 am and is open to non-residents. Breakfast in bed is available, of course, or take your breakfast out on the sunny terrace in the summer months.

We are planning to fully open from May 17th
We are also planning to offer outdoor lunch on the terrace from May 1st. (No details as yet)
Boris has spoken and it sounds as if ENGLAND will not be opening hotels until 17th May, I assume WALES will follow suit.
Online booking is available and reception will be staffed from 9am to midday from Monday to Saturday, so please do call us.
