Experimenting In The Gliffaes Kitchens

Quite often people scoff at the point of Twitter but it is thanks to Twitter and the Abergavenny Food Festival that Susie made contact with Adele Nozedar, author of, ‘The Hedgerow Handbook‘. It also turns out that Adele lives just down the road from Gliffaes. After Susie went to hear her talk at The Abergavenny Food Festival she met up with Adele and together with our head chef, Karl Cheetham they decided to do some experimenting with some ingredients foraged from all around the local area. This short video shows them at work in the kitchen and trying a few new things. Keep your eyes peeled for some interesting inclusions on our menu.  Susie has already made some of Adele’s Raspberry Vodka.
