Gliffaes Hotel closes after we have bid farewell to our Christmas guests on the 29th December and will remain closed until the 26th January. You can almost feel our grand Brecon Beacons hotel give a sigh of relief as it is allowed to rest for a short period. You can certainly hear the staff give a sigh a relief at the prospect of three weeks off!
Although closed to guests, the reception will be staffed every day to answer calls and respond to emails and bookings.
This is still a busy time for us as we always have a substantial programme of works to complete, jobs that can’t easily be done while we are open. Here is a list of some of the tasks we will be undertaking during January:
Thank you to all our guests for making 2017 a successful year for the hotel and we look forward to welcoming old friends and new when we re-open. To kick off the new season, we will be offering one of the best hotel deals in south Wales – Don’t forget to book in advance!
We are planning to fully open from May 17th
We are also planning to offer outdoor lunch on the terrace from May 1st. (No details as yet)
Boris has spoken and it sounds as if ENGLAND will not be opening hotels until 17th May, I assume WALES will follow suit.
Online booking is available and reception will be staffed from 9am to midday from Monday to Saturday, so please do call us.
Thank you for all your support and we hope to see you in May and beyond.
James & Susie Suter and all the team at Gliffaes.
