Beacons Creative Retreats invites you to Christmas at Gliffaes
We are thrilled to announce a mini one night retreat, providing you with an opportunity to immerse yourself in creative gift making for Christmas – it’s up to you whether or not you keep your creations, or, if you can bear to part with them, give them as presents!
Wreaths, Robins and Botanical Gin:
Join us on December 2nd and 3rd at a unique event, designed to get you into the Christmas spirit in the best possible way.
Arrive at 3.30pm on December 2nd , enjoy an afternoon coffee, then settle in with a cocktail as you take part in the Botanical Gin workshop (which will take 1.5 hours), followed by dinner at 7.15pm.
The following morning, after breakfast, you will divide into two groups, one to make robins, the other, wreaths. After lunch, you’ll swap over, so you have all 3 items to take home.
The booking process is a two-stage process. You will need to book your room and board package with the hotel. Room types and prices below and then go to the Beacons Creative Retreats website to book the workshops. To book your chosen room please telephone the hotel 01874 730371 or submit your request here (it is not possible to book this package online).

ADDED BONUS….it just happens to be late Christmas shopping in the gorgeous town of Crickhowell, less than a mile away, on Thursday 3rd December, a perfect opportunity to find some handmade gifts following your creative Retreat.
We are still unsure as to when we can re-open. I think it will be around the 24th May.
Gliffaes will not be open for outdoor dining only – I am afraid the numbers don’t stack up for us.
Mark Drakeford, The Welsh First Minister has given no definitive date for the opening of indoor hospitality in Wales.
This matter is further confused by the local elections on the 6th May. If Labour is returned to power he tells us that he will be minded to consider the opening of indoor hospitality on the 17th May and I guess he will give us about a week’s notice taking us to the 24th May.
Online booking is available and reception will be staffed from 9am to midday from Monday to Saturday, so please do call us.
Thank you for all your support and we hope to see you in May and beyond.
James & Susie Suter and all the team at Gliffaes.
