Wake up to the sound of the river coming in through the French doors, stand on the balcony and just drink in the stunning view. In summer watch the house martins scything through the sky and as dusk settles you realise you are now watching bats.
We have just two of these large and gloriously appointed bedrooms both have french doors opening out on to small balconies from which you can revel in the unmatched view of the river Usk and the foothills of the Brecon Beacons beyond.
Needless to say, these two rooms are much sought after, so book early.

With its very own delightful balcony, Room 2 is the perfect base during the summer months when the railings are draped in beautiful wisteria; similarly, during the winter months you are afforded a beautiful view of the frosted Welsh countryside. The room comes furnished with a gorgeous king-sized bed, which is dressed with the finest Toile de Jouy fabric, lined in silk. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a combined bath and shower. The room is on the first floor and as such is not wheelchair accessible.
Overlooking the beautiful River Usk, Room 6’s walls are adorned with an impressive collection of artwork by contemporary Welsh artists. Complete with a plush king-sized bed as well as an en-suite bathroom, you can also enjoy a sumptuously large free-standing bathtub – perfect for reflecting as you take a relaxing soak gazing over the lawns.
We are planning to fully open from May 17th
We are also planning to offer outdoor lunch on the terrace from May 1st. (No details as yet)
Boris has spoken and it sounds as if ENGLAND will not be opening hotels until 17th May, I assume WALES will follow suit.
Online booking is available and reception will be staffed from 9am to midday from Monday to Saturday, so please do call us.
Thank you for all your support and we hope to see you in May and beyond.
