After the success of our Chilean tasting and dinner last year we are now jumping continents to sample the fantastic wines of the Cape with help of wine expert, Patrick Pigny from Enotria Wines. This small event for just 18 people will take place in our private dining room on the evening of Saturday 19th March at 8.00 for 8.30pm. The idea is to pair a different wine with each of the five courses (canapés before we begin followed by a four course dinner) with a little bit of chat about each wine before we begin each course.
This will be an informal and fun evening with the emphasis on food wine with no in-depth wine knowledge required, just a healthy appetite and keenness to discover some really great wines that you will not find on the shelves of your local supermarket.
Karl Chetham, head chef and I are working on the final menu but the main components will be;
Selection of canapés – crab – venison – Welsh cheese plate – Pear (once finalised I will update this page). With a different wine for every course.
The cost per head, including wines will be £65.00. You will also be able to order any of the wines that you have enjoyed after the event.
